Writing a project brief at your own pace
The online course contains input on three different approaches for writing down a project brief - the curatorial, the academic and the business approach. You will learn the differences between the three and how to structure your concrete project brief according to the field in which you are positioning yourself. You can follow the course at your own pace, and at the end, you will have a written project brief, which you can use further to apply for funding, a PhD position, or start concrete collaborations.
This online course is for you if you
– have a concrete idea about a project (research or praxis) in this field
– wish to realize your project in the near future
– want to spend time at your own pace in writing
By the end of the course, you will
– learn the main content of a project brief in order to use it for further ideas and occasions.
– gain confidence to step into realizing your project idea.
Get guidance and write your project brief at your own pace with the step-by-step invitations.
The online course includes:
All course material is yours to keep forever. You can use it repeatedly whenever you write or re-write a project brief.
The workbook will guide you through your own process of writing. It contains templates for the structure and content of each approach (curatorial, research, business) and step-by-step invitations with concrete questions to write your project outline.
Additionally, for each step of the course, you will get video recordings of the inputs presented at the live workshop, which will support you in understanding the general structure of the brief.
After finishing the course, I can give you productive and supportive feedback on your project brief in a 1:1 session. Together, we will look at your intention from the beginning of the process and finalize your project brief accordingly. The 1:1 session will be 1.5 - 2 hours in person via zoom and includes support in building a strategy for further use and working with your brief. It also contains preparational work from my side on your final draft that I will ask you to send me beforehand.
